The Bee Tree Café is situated within the gallery and serves fresh coffee, a variety of teas, soft drinks and homemade cakes and biscuits.
There is often entertainment in the café, where the acoustic of the hall lends itself to live music.
The café is open throughout the year, offering seasonal delicacies.
Original Encaustic Souvenirs
We sell a wonderful selection of small affordable original paintings by international encaustic artists alongside the paintings in the gallery. In addition, an array of keyrings, cards, bookmarks and notebooks to choose from makes a lovely souvenir or present.
Beeswax Gifts
Edible beeswax gifts are available courtesy of Stockholm's 'Svenskt Mathantverk' company. We stock different flavoured honeys and many honey flavoured delicacies such as drinks, mustards and sweets. An ancient cold remedy that contains natural honey, eucalyptus and menthol makes a soothing drink and is a must for the natural medicine cabinet.
A beautiful selection of natural beeswax candles, candle making and decorating kits are available along with 'Stockmar' beeswax crayons and modelling wax. The crayons for example are perfect for children however small as they are non-toxic and harmless to the environment as well as being fantastic to hold and draw with.
